Mark Mullins is the Executive Director of the Fraser Institute, Canada's most influential non-profit research firm. Through the lens of "choice, markets and responsibility," and using meticulous research, Mullins and his team deliver towering reports on defining public issues. Under his leadership, the Institute continues to provide valuable insight -- and direction -- on financial markets, the economy, education, immigration, health care, and government regulations.

The Fraser Institute's researchers, which include six Nobel Prize winners in 22 countries, have written thousands of articles, making it an invaluable resource for public discussion and inquiry. Mullins joined in 2003, and became Executive Director in 2005; previously, he was President of MSG Hedge Corporation and Senior VP and Chief Economist at Midland Walwyn Capital Inc. Mullins was also an economic advisor to the Progressive Conservative Party of Canada, and is currently on Ontario's Task Force on Competitiveness, Productivity and Economic Progress. He has a Ph.D. from the London School of Economics and appears frequently in the media.
